The
'Othello' is a Stereo Integrated Pre/Power Hybrid Amplifier in one chassis.
It consist
of a separated tube line level preamp stage and a Solid State Power
amplifier
with an output
power rated at 40 Watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms.
Its Preamp
circuit uses two of Svetlana 6N1P small-signal dual triode tube, as
the line level driver.
The 6N1P
is similar to the ECC88, E88CC, 6922, Cca or other equivalent tube type
may be use in the circuit.
For those
who wish to fine tune or improve the sound quality of the 'Othello',
a change to other equivalent
tube type
like ECC88, E88CC, E188CC, 6922, CV2492, CV2493, Cca, 7308, etc. will
allow you to customize
the sound
of the amplifier to your personal preference.
You can almost
descride the 'Othello' as two or more amplifier in a single package.
The sound
characterised of the 'Othello', if matched with the right system, is
clean, rich and fluid with an
inviting
sense of warmth and body, with its wealth of detail, and well-balance
sound from its bass to its treble.
